   ZHANG Jing-zhong professor, is a reputed mathematician, educator, supervisor of doctoral students, and honorary director of Institute of Computer Applications of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is primarily engaged in research of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, such as Machine Testifying of Geometry Theorems, Educational Mathematics, Distance Geometry, etc. He is Chinese academic leader in the fields above. He has had more than 350 research papers and monographs published and has been awarded the National 2nd Class Prize in Natural Sciences, the 1st Class Prize for National invention, the 1st National Class Prize for Popular Science Books, the 1st National Class Prize for Educational Books and the Hong Kong gold prize for inventions, and the title of the National Top Teacher, and the National May Day Medal.
